How it works
Pole Grip Gel
When you apply Sahara Dry Pole Grip Gel correctly, firstly it will absorb the natural oils on the hand and evaporate the sebum away so the hand is clean. The removal of oils will increase friction from the hands to the pole, so you have better grip. Also, Sahara Dry is super-hydrophobic, which means it repels water and sweat, so sweat will not affect your grip. Unlike magnesium and chalk based grip products, Sahara Dry is clean and does not need to be reapplied, the dust will rest in the wrinkles of the hand, repelling sweat before it can affect grip. The results are better, stronger grip for much longer.
Pole Resin Body Spray
Sahara Dry Resin Body Spray coats the areas sprayed with a light sticky substance which enhances feel and grip on the pole. For aerials where added grip with less dryness is required, aerialists love it for the improved grip on silks.

FAQs
Yes, if it is slippery, you have either put too much on your hand, or not waited until it was dry before rubbing, or not rubbed hard enough. These are common mistakes when you use at first. Just wash with soap and water and apply again. Sahara Dry is used by thousands of dancers, including elite performers around the world, so we know it works really well in all weathers and on chrome and steel.
Feedback from dancers suggest that it lasts much longer lasting than other pole grip gels. This is because the drying agent is super-hydrophobic so its performance does not degrade over time or through contact with sweat. It depends on how you dance, but at it should last at least 30 minutes.
Yes you can. The powder that creates the dryness and grip can be removed by contact, so although it lasts much longer than other brands, it may need to be reapplied eventually. The grip fades as the powder is removed, so there is no need to wash your hands, just apply a small amount and apply as usual. Remember that there is powder still on your hands, so its best to apply less than normal when you reapply.Â
The alcohol in the gel can evaporate as it is high strength, which is needed to evaporate quickly. You can make it a gel again by adding alcohol, such as pole cleaning alcohol. The magic is in the powder, not the liquid.

No, Sahara Dry works brilliantly in cold, hot, dry, and humid weather. The powder does not contact the pole, only the skin, so therefore it works identically in all climates. You may sweat more in hot and humid places, but do not apply more, that will just create powder on the surface, which can make it slippy. As long as you cover the hands, you will get the perfect grip you want.
Yes, the drying agent dries the hand, allowing natural friction to improve grip on the pole, not artificial substances. Therefore the pole material does not affect the quality of grip.
Sahara Dry Hands Pole Gel does not leave residue on the pole. The hands are dried by the powder in the wrinkles of the hand, not sticky because of the substance on the surface. Therefore the gel will not come off on to the pole. The Body Resin Spray can leave residue if you apply too much or go on the pole too soon, but can be cleaned using normal methods (ie soap and water, or alcohol)

When you rub the hands, make sure you rub the finger and thumbprints if you are planning to spin with one handed grip.

Yes, but it will not be as effective as the Dry Hands Gel. If you like it, go with it.
