How it works
Sahara Dry Gym+
Sahara Dry Gym+ Spray creates better grip by coating the hands in a dust with 2 properties. Firstly, it absorbs the oils on the hand, increasing friction and creating stronger grip without mess or powder. Secondly, it will repel sweat away from the hands, so the increased friction will stay in place for much longer than magnesium or chalk products, with no reapplications. You will still sweat, but the sweat cannot combine to form droplets, so you have perfect grip for gym activities.
For timed events such as Crossfit, Hyrox, and Deka, Sahara Dry’s long lasting grip and fast drying is perfect, meaning no need to reapply, and if you do reapply, no waiting for it to dry.
Sahara Dry is a spray that carries a dust, so it is more efficient, you only use a small amount with no waste. Any waste there is is a fine dust, not a heavy powder, so gyms that only use Sahara Dry will be much cleaner and nicer, with lower cleaning costs and no damage to mats.
Sahara Dry Death Grip Resin Spray
Sahara Dry Death Grip Resin Spray adds grip by covering the hands and arms in a light sticky substance. Gym goers love it as it adds grip to improve their lifts and pulls ups. It has no sweat repelling properties, so if you are sweaty we recommend the Gym+
FAQs
Feedback suggests that it lasts much longer lasting than other grip gels. This is because the drying agent is super-hydrophobic so its performance does not degrade over time or through contact with sweat. Ultimately it depends on how your hands are built, how well you applied it, and so on. It lasts longer, just test it.
Yes, the drying agent dries the hand, allowing natural friction to improve grip, not artificial substances. Therefore what you are lifting does not affect the grip.
Sahara Dry Hands Pole Gel does not leave residue on equipment. The hands are dried by the powder in the wrinkles of the hand, not sticky because of the substance on the surface. Therefore the gel will not come off on to the equipment.
The gel is alcohol based so if you have open skin / wounds then it will sting. Also, the powder will not degrade, so if it gets inside the skin then it needs to be removed with soap and water. Therefore, Sahara Dry does not recommend you use the gel when you have wounds, but it is up to you. Do you want to lift more or not?
