How Sahara Dry Works for Basketball
Sahara Dry includes a super-hydrophobic drying agent that repels water, sweat, and humdity. This has been formulated into products that improve grip on the hands and the shoe grip by removing moisture.

On the hands, Baller Grip Gel removes sweat quickly and naturally. You will still sweat, but that sweat cannot get into the wrinkles and channels on the hand, where it would normally combine with other sweat molecules to form droplets. The sweat cannot get in there, and is repelled to the ridges on the skin, from where it evaporates much more quickly as your hands move around.

On the shoes, the spray covers the sole with the super-hydrophobic drying agent, which importanly settles in the imperfections, dints, and natural variations in the rubber sole, as well as in the tread. Shoe grip is lost when the shoe sole gets covered with dust, as the dust contacts dust on the floor, removing friction, but Sahara Dry removes the humidity in the sole that attracts the dust. Therefore, the shoe sole remains dust free, which means that the rubber contacts with the court, and you have great grip. As it is hydrophobic, its effect does not reduce over time, so you get great grip for the whole game.
