FAQs

Sahara Dry includes a super hydrophobic and oleophilic drying agent. When you spray the hands or apply the gel, it absorbs natural oils on the hand, which protect the hand but reduce grip. Then, when you perform or practice, the super-hydrophobic effect repels sweat so your hands are dryer for longer. No matter if you are using a grip, vaulting, on a beam, or trying to catch a ball, you will have better grip and control. You will still sweat, it is not aluminum, but the sweat is removed either by movement or evaporation before it affects performance.

Sahara Dry lasts until removed with soap and water. As it is super-hydrophobic, if you rinse with water, nothing will happen. Over time the natural oils in the skin will re-emerge, but not quickly enough to affect grip during your performance.

Sahara Dry Gymnastics Spray will be FDA approved, and the gel is the same materials with a different formulation. Sahara Dry uses cosmetic grade materials used in many cosmetics. The silica is derived from sand, and alcohol is used as a hand sanitiser on a daily basis. Sahara Dry has been on sales since January 2024 and we have not received or heard of any issues with allergies or reactions.

Yes, Sahara Dry is perfectly ok for children as well as adults.

Yes, it is fine to use on the bars, beam, rings, pommel, vault, and floor. However, it will cost you more money that way, it is much more efficient to spray the hands and feet.

Antiperspirant products for the hands and feet do not need certification, but those for the body do, as the body has more sensitive areas of skin. Sahara Dry does not yet have certification for the body, so spraying your body is at your own risk.

Yes. Apply it the same way it was applied the first time.

Apart from the fragrance, no.
